On Nov. 20th a group of talented singers, songwriters, and thinkers joined forces in Des Moines, IA to hold the first ever FolksGiving Benefit, raising donations for the Central Iowa Homeless Youth Shelters. Napkin Sketch was on hand, capturing video and sound, providing record of the musical, magical evening.

Danny has just released a rustic EP of original gems named “Everything Comes from Something.” It’s a wonderful precursor to what I hope is a long writing and recording career from Danny. Check out his music, and definately catch one of his live shows. It’ll be worth it!
If you like Simon & Garfunkel style sweet harmonies will excellent, insightful, and “eternal” songwriting then I implore you, go see Storyhill in Zumbrota, MN tonight. Really, it’ll change your life for the better.
I saw the fantasitic duo last night in Ames, and it was a breath of fresh air. If you’ve been looking for a bit of illumination, a little inspiration…make the drive and see them live.
Or…if you really can’t…go listen to their music online and buy a couple of discs. You won’t regret it!
