My 2 cents…he’s trying a bit too hard. More obscure, more odd than any of his previous work…using autotune and dropping profanity doesn’t automatically make you one of the cool kids. Sure, the banjo-whisperfolk thing has been overdone, but I’d hoped for more articulate writing; more intimate stories.

It’s not terrible, it’s just not great…

I’ll stick with “All Delighted People.”
