I first heard Wilco in college and thought “Eh, these guys are ok, nothin’ special.” I’m now eating my words. The best bands make it sound so easy. The best writers find lines that sound as natural as being born. Listen to Kicking Television, and enjoy some classic Wilco.

Last weekend we played our first house show, a smashing success! Thanks to the gracious hosts and audience the ‘vibe’ was really sweet and intimate. Despite a confounding rainstorm, we played inside rather than on the back porch, but the setting couldn’t have been better. We’ve just set up a series of intimate-setting shows at Stam Chocolaterie in Des Moines, another fantastic non-traditional setting for this summer’s Finn Miles concert series.

Over the past few years we’ve played T-shirt shops, jewelery stores, living rooms, and street corners…you can’t say we’re not trying!
