Inspiration in the form of an amplifier

Illumination takes many forms, a butterfly, a sunset, or a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. In my case it was the latter, when my friend Brian needed a place to store his beefy sounding amplifier I had to oblige him storage space in the studio. A few hours later I realized it might be a good idea to put together another EP (I know, Branches was just released!).

So, we’ll see how it goes. I know that it’s one thing to start recording, and a completely different matter to actually finish a well-rounded EP to share with the world. From the beginning, this small inkling desire, I do believe the electric guitar may be featured on the new tunes.

More to come!

Aaron Lee Martin – Friendrock

A few weeks ago I had the distinct honor of opening for Aaron Lee Martin, a fantastic and passionate songwriter from Kansas. He recently did a few recordings with the “Into the Hill” gang…you can hear these recordings for free here. Enjoy!
